SHIRT CORNER

Constructed on the corner of 3rd and Market in Old City, The Shirt Corner is namesake of the iconic 1960’s haberdashery made famous by its vibrant suits, shirts and ties in this historic mercantile street. To preserve its memorable billboard signage on the storefront, we commissioned Darin Rowland, master signmaker, to paint a reproduction of the super graphics in layers of white paint to evoke a “ghost sign”. The lobby wall has a pictorial mural montage of historic photographs created by fine art photographer Julia Blaukopf. Each elevator lobby is marked with its own historic reference to the neighborhood.
